The two companies will begin rolling out a series of online design-focused educational programs to thousands of students in early 2021.
The partnership's first offering will be a Professional Graduate Certificate in Design for Business. iNurture will make the program available in four regions across multiple universities in India, reaching students aspiring for international programs in design. Sessions College will deliver the content which will include classes in branding, photoshop, digital designs, and more. Later in the year, iNurture will launch a three-year Bachelor of Arts program in Fine Arts, with certification inclusions delivered by Sessions College.
The partnership will create a new digital design footprint in India. Experts agree that India has a shortage of qualified designers at a time when design's importance continues to grow. A design education is the building block for advertising, web design, e-commerce, and many other aspects of daily life. The Union Cabinet of India recently approved the country's National Education Policy 2020 which details a new and forward-looking vision for India's higher education system including increased access, equity, and inclusion through a range of measures like online education.
